By accessing or using QRCode42.com ("Service"), operated by Frequency 42 LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

QRCode42 is a QR code generation, hosting, and analytics platform that allows users to:

• Generate QR codes for URLs and text
• Track QR code scans and analytics
• Manage multiple QR codes from a dashboard
• Access advanced features through paid subscriptions

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
• Not create an account using false or misleading information
• Not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Free Tier

The Free tier is available indefinitely with the following features and limitations:

• 5 Dynamic QR Codes
• Unlimited Static QR Codes
• 5 Short Links
• 1 Landing Page
• Unlimited Scans
• Scan Analytics
• QR codes include QRCode42 branding

4.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly). Available tiers include:

• Creator ($9/mo): 25 Dynamic QR Codes, 25 Short Links, 5 Landing Pages, 1 Custom Domain, Remove QRCode42 Branding
• Team ($24/mo): 100 Dynamic QR Codes, 25 Landing Pages, 3 Team Members, 3 Custom Domains, A/B Testing & Geo-targeting
• Business ($49/mo): 500 Dynamic QR Codes, 500 Short Links, 100 Landing Pages, 10 Team Members, White-labeling, Smart Menu Landing Pages
• Enterprise (Custom pricing): Unlimited everything, Unlimited Team Members, SSO/SAML, Dedicated Support

All paid plans include Unlimited Scans, Scan Analytics, and No Scan Limits. Billing terms:

• Billing Cycle: Monthly or yearly subscriptions renew automatically (save 17% with yearly billing)
• Payment: You authorize us to charge your payment method on file
• Price Changes: We will notify you 30 days before any price increase
• Taxes: Prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial months or unused portions
• Enterprise plans may have custom cancellation terms
• Upon cancellation, your account will be downgraded to the Free tier

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to create QR codes that link to or contain:

• Illegal content or activity
• Malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Phishing, scams, or fraudulent content
• Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
• Adult content or pornography
• Content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Spam or unsolicited commercial content
• Content that violates privacy or data protection laws

5.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
• Use automated scripts to access the Service (except via approved API)
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
• Remove or obscure branding on the Free tier (branding removal available on Creator tier and above)
• Abuse free trial or promotional offers

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Rights

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Frequency 42 LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Rights

You retain all rights to the content you encode in QR codes. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and display your QR codes
• Track and analyze QR code scans
• Provide the Service to you
